Last issue, we (the editors) wrote a bit about our desks and how we use our spaces in Editor Feature 1: FROM THE DESK OF. This time, we were inspired by our theme for Issue 2 – passage – to write about the presence of passage in our own lives and the specific modes of passage that often catch our attention. Our reflections took on the form of a collage; we hope you enjoy it, and that it might help you get to know us (and the theme of our forthcoming second issue) a little better!
Submissions are now closed for Issue 2! We'll be spending the next few weeks going through submissions and making some very difficult decisions. Issue 1 – our desire & ambition issue (and also our first issue ever) – is here, born
into this interspace between the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Within it
churns a storm of yearning, denial, identity, and hope. Peeling sunburns,
endless selves, dark hallways, a rising moon; this issue holds a mirror to
our deepest dreams, wishes, and fears.
