Katie Farkas (they/she), an American artist, was born and raised on Long Island, NY. She has a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in education from Adelphi University and a double minor in Philosophy and Art History. Farkas’ work consists mainly of mixed media pieces that explore what it means to bear witness and readdress fleeting moments in an effort to understand them.
